The classical Christian tradition offers a rich and compelling vision for human flourishing. It is found not in self-creation, but in life with God, rooted in the order of creation, shaped by virtue, and fulfilled in communion with Christ and one another. Drawing on the vision of the Sermon on the Mount, this gathering brings together leading thinkers to explore the beauty, depth, and coherence of a distinctly Christian vision of the good life, one that forms the soul, orders our loves, and calls us into a life of wholeness, peace, purpose, and service.

During our time together, we will consider what it means to flourish amid a range of competing visions of the good life. We will wrestle with several essential questions:

  • What does it mean to be fully human?

  • Who defines the good life?

  • How are our desires, identities, and imaginations being shaped?

  • What does flourishing look like in a technological age?

  • How do we live truthfully and faithfully amid deep disagreement?

  • What kind of people and institutions must we become?

This conference will feature a range of gifted speakers who will guide us through conversations on AI, suffering, identity, authority, cultural formation, and beauty. Together, we will consider the implications of these themes for the inner life, the shared life, and the cultural life.

Join us as we recover a distinctly Christian vision of the person, embodied, relational, creative, and fully alive in Christ.
