Fall Retreat 2026
Truth in the Tradition
Truth in the Tradition: Rediscovering Truth in Classical Christian Leadership
Every fall, the Society for Classical Learning invites classical Christian school leaders to take an intentional break to reflect on their work and calling. Through enriching talks, space for reflection, and fellowship, leaders consistently report that the SCL fall retreat leaves them refreshed and energized for the work ahead. Working group sessions offer a time to grapple with the real-world leadership issues that leaders face, while receiving feedback and collective wisdom from other CCE leaders. Beginning Thursday early evening and closing early in the afternoon on Saturday, this year’s SCL Fall Retreat will bring our series on the transcendentals to a close, with a focus on “Truth in the Tradition.”
Session 1: David Diener - Classical and Christian? Finding Truth in the Tradition
Session 2: Eric Cook - Seeing Clearly, Leading Wisely: Prudence and the Nature of Reality
Session 3: Andrew Elizalde - Confessing, Believing, and Expecting the Truth
